Queen Elizabeth, who is celebrating 70 years on the throne, is said to be "pleased" with her grandson, the future king of England.
Prince William, who is second in line, has been helping the other senior royals kick off the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Last weekend,
the Duke of Cambridge took on the role of leading the Colonel’s Review, a military rehearsal for Trooping the Colour, the queen’s upcoming birthday parade.
As part of his royal duties, the 39-year-old was on hand to pass the Irish Guards as part of the festivities being held this week. William, as holder of the honorary position of Colonel of the regiment, ensured the troops were ready.
Prince Louis, the youngest son of Kate Middleton and Prince William, has become an internet sensation.
The 4-year-old quickly became a popular meme on social media amid the Trooping the Colour on Thursday.
Louis and his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, made their carriage ride debut alongside their mother, Kate Middleton, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. They later appeared on the palace balcony with other senior members of the British royal family.
Louis stood beside the queen, his great-grandmother. He happily waved during the military flypast and then dramatically covered his ears as the noises grew louder.
At one point, Middleton, 40, was spotted repeatedly reminding her son to take his hands out of his mouth – a moment many mothers can identify with.
In more heartfelt moments, the queen was seen chatting with Louis and happily pointing things out for him. Louis’ father is second in line to the throne.
